This Privacy Policy explains how BlockPrimer, operated by Binared Ltd (“we”, “us”), handles your personal information when you use our website and services.

Information we collect

Account information: your name (optional) and email address when you create an account or subscribe to the newsletter.
Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used, to help us improve it.
Where you came from: when you sign up, we record which page or form you used and, if you arrived from an ad or a tagged link, the campaign it came from. This helps us understand which content and campaigns are useful.
Questions to our assistant: if you use the “Ask BlockPrimer” chat on the website or our Telegram bot, your question is sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. We keep the question and our answer for up to 30 days to check the quality of answers. They’re stored with a one-way hash of your IP address (website) or Telegram user ID (Telegram) rather than your name or account, and that hash is also used to enforce daily limits.
Account activity: if you have an account or newsletter subscription, we keep a log of account events — sign-up, confirmation emails sent, confirmations, log-ins and newsletter changes — with the country the request came from (not your IP address), for security and support.

To create and manage your account and subscription.
To respond to your requests and provide support.
To improve our content and the website experience.

Email and the newsletter

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email, or from your account page. We will never sell your email address.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to operate the service: Cloudflare (hosting, database, bot protection with Turnstile, and cookieless web analytics), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (the AI model behind our assistant), and Telegram (if you use our Telegram bot). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

Essential: required for core features such as keeping you logged in and remembering your light/dark theme preference. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics: privacy-respecting measurement that helps us understand which guides are useful, in aggregate.
Advertising: if we run advertising campaigns (for example through Google Ads), our advertising partners may set cookies to measure the performance of those ads and, where permitted, to show relevant ads. You can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and opt out of many third-party ad cookies at the Digital Advertising Alliance.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

Advertising & analytics partners

We may use Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google’s use of data is described in “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.” We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your privacy choices (US & California residents)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioural advertising) under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

We do not sell your personal information for money. To opt out of any sharing for personalized advertising, or to exercise any of your rights, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children

BlockPrimer is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and passwords are stored only as salted, hashed values. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us.
